Hawke's life started when his family's ended. His name wasn't Hawke then but it's the only one he answers to now. Having been born to a mage that lived just outside of Clearwater, it was no surprise that he began to show signs of talent. But despite his mother's best efforts, her lessons were wasted as his abilities developed by themselves and would not be guided. He'd always been more interested in the outdoors than the classroom and early on he was able to understand and be understood by animals. He apprenticed to hunters and scouts and his mystic and psychic abilities, for he developed both, were focused in the same area. He'd been out hunting when he returned to find his parents and sister dead. Tracking the one who did it, he took the assassin by surprise and 'persuaded' him to reveal who had hired him. Another mage, wanting more power and political influence, decided to remove an opponent and rival. A week later, that mage was dead. Knowing the man's friends and allies would come after him, he packed what he could carry and left everything else behind him, including his name. Calling himself Hawke, he now lives off the land, hunts for treasure, guides and protects travelers who hire him and whatever else he feels like doing.
Intuitively able to use his connection to nature, Hawke was born in an act of revenge.
Invoke: To use his arcane abilities as a Ranger/Druid to right wrongs.
Compel: Few options are off the table if Hawke feels vengeance must be served.
Running From the Past
Hawke got revenge for the death of his parents, but he made enemies doing it and they’re still searching for him.
Invoke: Hawke is good at disappearing and can gain bonuses to make his trail go cold.
Compel: When something from his past catches up to him and complicates his new life, to lose resources in order to stay free.
Wherever I May Roam
Drop Hawke in unfamiliar terrain with no supplies and he’ll be geared and living comfortably before day’s end.
Invoke: Hawke can Invoke this aspect to gain bonuses to skills when he’s in the wilderness.
Compel: More at home in the wilderness than in towns and cities, Hawke can become disoriented or flustered in cities.

Into The Woods
+2 to any Stealth roll in wilderness areas.
You may use Survival to to track and counter track both animals and people.
1) A ring carved from bone. This is basically an ‘always on’ speaks with animals/animal friendship item. (Note that he takes it off when he hunts.)2) A simple necklace consisting of a single wolf’s tooth strung on a piece of leather made from a wolf. Shapechange into a wolf.3) The green crystal leaf-shaped clasp of his cloak acts as armor when he’s attacked.4) He spent a lot of time and effort on this one. A polished wooden bracelet carved with a vine twining around it. When activated, it straightens and enlarges, turning into a vine wrapped staff that can be used as a walking stick or a weapon. If he prefers, the staff can be pulled apart into two pieces, both of which morph into wooden short swords for two weapon fighting (the vines wrap around the hilt). Alternatively, the staff can morph into a curved bow and the vine becomes the bowstring. Arrows appear as the bow is drawn.
