soldier of fortune
Raised in a clean, trouble-free section of the 'Burbs, Tuttle was tricked into M.O.M. surgery by volunteering for a "once-in-a-lifetime study abroad" package that took suitable candidates and turned them into Juicers and Crazies for an aspiring criminal enterprise -- the unfit ended up in chop-shops, so at least the "lifetime" will net an unforgettable five to seven years...
Using her high-powered perception and (brand new!) merciless combat skills to deliver the remaining chunks of the surprised crimelord to one of his own chop-shops was deliciously efficient, but she's running on borrowed time and her fourth assumed identity in six months...
Better To Burn Out...
Invoke: Determined to leave a mark, bold and decisive
Compel: Will NOT be ignored, to the point of egocentrism
hyper-perception shifts result in sped-up/slow-mo instances.
Invoke: Bo-ring. Skip ahead... (Hi-speed perception assists accomplishing minute/difficult tasks)
Compel: Regrets are forever. No, *actually forever.* Former unpleasant/uncomfortable memories are relived from multiple speeds/angles
Lost resource of a criminal gang
Invoke: Phenomenal survivor and combatant, illegally savvy and clever
Compel: The remaining resources of the two-bit criminal's enterprise want their inventment back...
Danger Sense (1)
augmented hyper-perception. Your Notice skill works unimpeded by conditions like total concealment, darkness, or other sensory impairments in situations where someone or something intends to harm you.
Body Language Reader(1)
detailed files on human motion. You can use Notice in place of Empathy to learn the aspects of a target through observation.
Reactive Shot (1)
top-of-the-line predictive software. You can use Notice instead of Shoot to make quick, reactive shots that don’t involve a lot of aiming. However, because you’re having a knee-jerk reaction, you’re not allowed to concretely identify your target before using this stunt. So, for example, you might be able to shoot at someone you see moving in the bushes with this stunt, but you won’t be able to tell if it’s friend or foe before you pull the trigger. Choose carefully!
Heavy Hitter (1)
neural feedback reduced via dampeners. When you succeed with style on a Fight attack and choose to reduce the result by one to gain a boost, you gain a full situation aspect with a free invocation instead.
Called Shot (1)
suite of sensory/targeting optics. During a Shoot attack, spend a fate point and declare a specific condition you want to inflict on a target, like Shot in the Hand. If you succeed, you place that as a situation aspect on them in addition to hitting them for stress.
Major Gateway: Augmented (2)
M.O.M. surgery. Recovers from consequences in ½ time and does not need justification to begin recovery, +2 to defend with Athletics and goes before anyone who does not also have heightened speed or reaction times. Athletics cap increased to 6.
Making It Count (1)
implants reduce/eliminate notions of "pain". Once per session, the Augment may absorb three stress for taking a mild physical consequence (Juicers) or a mild mental consequence (Crazies)
Turkey Bots fight it out in the Arena in Vesper. What could go wrong?
A new person - Harmonica Tuttle - comes onto the scene, and makes her way to Gran's where Jeshua meets her, and offers her hospitality (despite being more than a little confused by the Crazy's wandering dialogue). A late arriving Elpida has time to shake the snow off her snakes and say hello before the stranger takes her leave.
